There was much excitement in school today as our budding karate competition entrants warmed up to compete in their first ever Karate Competition. Practising their katas before the event, the children were up for it!

Some black belts from Kaichou-Kai Karate were there to do a presentation and help with the judging. It was inspiring for the children to see where they could be in a few years time if they continue with the commitment and dedication they have shown.

Congratulations to all the children for participating and special mention to Lily, Matilda, Dylan, Salvador for being runners up, and for Erik and Ava for winning first prize.

Thank you, too to Kerry for organising and the team at Kaichou-Kai. A great first competition all round!
