’twas a busy, busy week at Rosemary Works leading up to the half term break. We had orienteering with the Upper School on Wednesday which was a big success (details will follow) and, of course, we had our compliance inspection with the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

The Early Years classes continue with Star of the Week but the Year 1 to 6 classes vote for their People’s Choice winner.

I asked in assembly why the winners had been chosen and they shared the most marvellous reasons including how kind and helpful they are to their respective classes and the school and how much they are liked! Lovely! It’s especially pleasing to give our children the opportunity to have a say in who they feel deserves these awards and, for the first time, we also unanimously wanted to give one member of staff the staff people’s choice awards for all their hard work during the inspection.

So well done to you all – I hope all the children have a well deserved rest – they have ALL been fantastic this half term and they are all stars!
