It’s been a busy week in the world of Reception Class. We started the week looking at the seaside with a couple of gorgeous stories and talk! This lead to lots and lots of curiosity about pirates (!) so off we went on a very exciting tangent!
Another thing we got our brains around was fossils! It was fascinating to find out exactly how they are formed and we had a go at making some of own from clay & our small world dinosaurs. In fact, we discovered there’s a few keen geologists amongst us who were able to teach the rest of us a thing or two!
Apart from that we’ve been helicopter story-acting, writing postcards about imaginary holidays, making up and solving more maths stories, and of course, Forest School & gymnastics.
Another fun week and a fantastic half term. Rest well everyone!
