What a brilliant week this week! Year 3 started their week exploring fractions using Minstrels. The class quickly realised that the more people you share with the smaller the fraction of minstrels! Brilliant learning. English included more research about celebrations and festivals and we learnt lots of words to help us extend our sentences.
On Wednesday Year 3 joined the rest of KS2 on an ice skating (and gliding) adventure to Liverpool Street station. These children behaved beautifully and responsibly and really enjoyed their trip. After a while some children were naturals! I decided it was safer if I was on dry land!
We are looking forward to next week where we will learn about using reference books and more fractions and shapes. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s learning about rocks. Have a good weekend Year 3.
