Wow! The Summer has flown by and our Play Scheme has come to a fun filled finish.

Here are some of the highlights from the second half of Summer:

We love Forest School. It’s a great way to get outdoors and explore. We always have a brilliant time at Shoreditch Park -climbing, building and adventuring!

Our food workshops we’re very popular (and tasty!). We made everything from marshmallow and oreo cakes to fruity skewers.
Our french stick pizza bread was a lot of fun to make and even more fun to eat.

In our history sessions we found out about the Egyptian Pharaoh Cleopatra and made own own clay scarab beetles. We learnt about Mary Anning, an incredible Paleontologist, and created some dinosaur art. We also looked at the work of the artist Joan Miro and created our own art inspired by his paintings.

We went on plenty of trips too. Our favourite trip had to be when we visited the Sea Life London Aquarium. We got to see stingrays, sharks, sea horses and even some clown fish. There were hundreds of different kinds of fish. We also got to stroke a starfish! We had an amazing day!

Its been an absolutely fantastic seven weeks. Thanks to everyone who made it so much fun and we look forward to seeing you all at our next Play Scheme in October.
