On a hot and humid afternoon in London, Rosemary Works hosted our annual summer fete brimming with things to do, drink and eat. Our amazing team of volunteers at the Parents’ Network and the staff at the school and Early Years did us proud with a brilliantly well organised do. There was indoor play in the hall, slip and slide in the football cage, sumo wrestling in the main playground and a host of other traditional fete activities for young and old to enjoy, from hook a duck to face-painting, goal scoring, tombolas and the raffle…..and what great prizes were on offer this year? In addition, there was a silent auction and, in the EY playground a food court with plenty of tasty offerings. In fact, around every nook and cranny one could find something fun to do!Despite the heat, it was a marvellous fete topped off with England securing their place in the semi-finals (first half of which displayed in the hall). We thank all the Parents’ Network reps (especially Vera, Tamara, Kate and Kathryn), parent volunteers, Early Years and School staff (special mention to Semira), parents who baked, cooked and gave up their time to help run stalls and to all those who came for making this event one to remember. We hope you had a great day.
