Today we celebrated the Year 6 children who graduated from Rosemary Works School.
It was an emotional assembly as I paid tribute to the incredible achievements they had made throughout their time with us and they each watched a video that showed their time at Rosemary Works and all the many amazing things they did.
Each of them bravely gave a speech which was absolutely lovely. They thanked the teachers, staff and children for helping them along their way and their class teacher read a self-made poem which was beautiful, fitting and incredibly touching.
Once the gifts were presented, the children all went into the playground to say their farewells to their friends before walking to Broadway Market for a slap-up lunch with their families and us.
Despite the many tears, this was a wonderful celebration of their time with us
We are so very proud of them and feel confident that they will continue to thrive in their new, respective schools. They are amazing people whom we will greatly miss, but feel that they are ready for this next stage in their life and all the exciting challenges that lie ahead.
