Continuing our season of Class Assemblies, it was a pleasure to see our youngsters in Year 1 share what they have learnt about the Great Fire of London this morning with a stunning retelling of the story with great costumes, actions, songs and a slick performance worthy of the West End!

We were all delighted with how incredible our Year 1s were with: learning all their lines and delivering them with such confidence, with the facts they had learnt retold so clearly which educated, not only the rest of the school but a few relatives who attended, a thing or two about the events on Pudding Lane in 1666.

Thank you to the children in Year 1 for all their hard work – it was amazing! And thank you, too, to Alice and Jackie for helping them put on a fabulous performance. Well done!!

Here’s the video for you to enjoy and share with relatives…
