What a lovely and lively week we’ve had to lead us to the half term holiday. Getting to grips with fractions led to some great mathematical discussion and investigation. We discovered that it makes sense to share some things equally to create fractions of a whole (mainly yummy food) but not other things – quarter of a football is not really of use to anyone!
We became text detectives in order to hunt down all the features of information texts. Can your child tell you any?
We wrapped up our Chinese New Year topic by creating some pretty cool looking egg box dragons and red paint everywhere! Lots of arty/ crafty fun.
The whole class confirmed to me how sweet and kind-hearted each and every member is by wishing me a happy birthday on Thursday. Thank you for your warm wishes.
Have an amazing holiday everyone!
