Alison’s maths group rounded off their fractions topic with some tasty challenges: how could we share 2 donuts equally between 9 children?  Or 3 apples? Or 5 cookies?! And, most importantly of all,  would there be enough left over for the teacher to have some??!   The children really put all their newly acquired understanding of fractions to the test and ended up with a tasty, and perfectly divided, snack.  Well done everyone!
