After Celebration Assembly, the Year 1 to 6 children had a quick break in the slushy snow then returned to the hall for an assembly hosted by Paul from the team at Mad Science.
He focused on air for this presentation and told the children all about the properties of air with volunteer support from our children.
There were several themes Paul covered – from creating a vacuum to where carbon dioxide escapes to from a deflated balloon and he also demonstrated air flow with a fun and raucous experiment with a leaf blower and a pair of toilet rolls. Unforgettable fun!
Paul will be our Extracurricular Club leader for Mad Science starting February 11th and it’s going to be fantastic!
Here’s a short video with clips from the assembly.
