Yesterday we had our first Forest School session in the mud kitchen and we had so much fun! We spent she time digging with the spades looking for conkers and then we learnt how to safely use a hand drill (by placing it on a block and drilling, not in our hands) before drilling holes in our conkers. Once we had successfully managed to drill a hole, we used these conkers to make necklaces, rings and even headbands! We already can’t wait for next time!

Thank you to everyone who supplied us with waterproof clothing for their child, the jackets and wellies were very helpful but can you also make sure they have waterproof trousers too – things tend to get very messy at Forest School!
