Reception Class had a fabulous, enriching time together in the woods at Bow Cemetery Park. Dim led us around the woodlands and meadows on a ‘mini-beast safari’ where we made friends with many of them! At the Soanes Centre we got stuck into pond-dipping. Some of us got very excited about the newts! Dim taught us how to handle them carefully with wet, flat hands and return them to their natural habitat…plus many other interesting things about them too! Lots of lovely firsts today (and hand-washing!), before enjoying lunch and the train ride back to school.
