The Winter Fest, organised by the Parents’ Network was a fantastic two hours of Christmas fun and festivities for the children and parents of Rosemary Works School.

We had a wonderful grotto complete with St Nick which the children came to visit – they sang him some Christmassy songs and he gave the children a lovely goodie bag.

In the hall, the PN were serving mulled wine and some delicious cakes and other baked treats. They then broke into song and had two donation buckets to continue the fundraising for the Hackney Food Bank – one was to continue singing; the other was to stop!

Later this week, we will announce how much was raised.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the Winter Fest a fantastic occasion. Special thanks to Vera, Tamara, Sara, Alice, Kristeen, Kathryn, Carmen, Michelle, Mette, Emilie, Lesley, Tessa, all the bakers, the children for creating beautiful handmade decorations, and of course, Santa himself!
