What an amazing time Year 2 had at the National Gallery last Thursday.   Everyone was over-awed by the beautiful building and fabulous paintings.  We all enjoyed a talk by one of the gallery guides, Ed.  He really brought the stories in some of the paintings to life and explained how to spot hidden meanings.  The children enjoyed sketching details from some of the paintings – we spotted lots of paintings about the Nativity.
Year 2 weighed, sieved, mixed and kneaded their way to producing some delicious Christmas spice biscuits on Friday.  Sorry none of the biscuits made it home -they were gobbled up straight away, too yummy to save!

Well done Year 2. super chefs.
