Year 3 and 4 took a terrific trip to the Tower of London today. We learnt all about life in Norman times from Sir Duncan, a Norman knight. We looked around the White Tower, which was built in 1097.
We also took a look at the Crown Jewels and saw weapons and armour worn by the Kings of England.
We saw the Ravens of the Tower. The legend goes that if the ravens ever leave the tower then it will crumble. Luckily, all the ravens were there today.
It was a great day out and we learnt lots about life in Norman times.
