The school’s in-house expert, Chef Chris, treated the Yr 5/6 children to a sushi master class to conclude their geography topic all about a Japan. The children learnt the origins of sushi and enjoyed preparing all of the fresh ingredients. Using sushi rice and nori (dried seaweed) they added the ingredients and learnt the tricky skill of rolling the sushi using special mats. A great hands on opportunity and a delicious treat too!
