It was a pleasure to watch the Year 5 and Year 6 girls and boys competing against 16 other Hackney Primary Schools in the final competition stage of this year’s Cross Country Running at Hackney Downs on Monday afternoon.

Overall, Rosemary Works performed brilliantly – absolutely holding their own against some much bigger schools –  the vast majority of children beating their previous personal best times in what was very cold, slippery conditions. A special mention to Eva and Arthur who came 38th and 27th respectively, in a field of well-over a hundred in each race.

What’s more, everyone seemed to really enjoy it. Brilliant work RW!
