Year 5 and 6’s part in Project RW was to create in teams marble runs that were theme based. The children researched successful marble runs on the internet and then devised a theme that captured their imagination and would work based on physics and a bit of trial and error.
Having created their designs, the next stage was to decorate and reinforce them using predominantly recycled resources.
The final stage, after testing, was to run an exhibition in the hall for the younger children to test them out.
All the marble runs looked amazing and were all entirely successful. We were all hugely impressed with the children’s imagination, physics skills, creativity and determination to complete a decent marble run and the results speak for themselves. Take a look at the video below. Well done Year 5 and 6!
