In year 6 this term we have been studying ancient Greece. We read ‘Theseus and the Minotaur’ and various other myths containing mythical beasts and monsters. We designed glove puppets in the form of our favourite mythical beast. We used a combination of paper Mache, tin foil and mod-roc to build the features of the faces. Next, we sewed bodies using felt; using a mixture of blanket stitch and running stitch to show off our sewing skills. Lastly, we connected the head and body using a hot glue gun.
