Year 6’s Japanese Art using Polystyrene Print

Year 6 have been looking at Ukiko-e style of Japanese art in our topic lessons. These style of paintings became popular when they became available in woodblock prints. They looked at the artist Hokusai and his work entitled Thirty Six Views of Mount Fuji, then they had a go at making a print themselves using polystyrene and inks.
