This week Year One have been learning about instructions. We have looked at bossy verbs, time words and using numbers and bullet points. Yesterday we even had a go at making our own jam sandwiches! We created our own set of instructions and at followed them carefully to make a delicious, sticky snack. As you can imagine, we had a lot of fun and the children REALLY enjoyed getting to devour their sandwiches at the end! Today we also wrote our own set of instructions, getting to choose our own ‘How To…’ and saw some amazing work ranging from ‘How To Make Slime’ to ‘How To Make Scrambled Eggs’! Great work, Year One!
