On Monday’s beautiful sunny afternoon Year 5 and 6 made models of rivers in the playground using sand and water. The aim was to recreate the life of a river from source to the ocean in miniature. When we had finished labelling the different features we poured water down our models to test the water flow. Marks were added for how many geographical features we could include – and how little flooding there was!
