Global Awareness Studies

Our Global Awareness Studies curriculum is a truly cross-curricular topic, allowing our children to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them, and to create links between the different subjects they will learn throughout their education.

The children learn about the development of democracy and human rights. They learn the benefit of debate and critical thinking. The children develop an understanding of diversity and inclusion, learning about culture, identity and beliefs. The curriculum looks at indigenous communities, migration and citizenship, peace and conflict, and social responsibility, along with sustainable development and our impact on the world.
