To begin our topic on Ancient Greece, the children researched the use of and decoration for the pots and vases that were used. They then designed their own – depicting scenes from Greek myths, famous battles or Olympic sports – and then created their pieces from papier-mâché.
The finished pieces are very impressive and are the first part of a display in the Year 6 classroom.
