What a fabulous afternoon we had out on the water. The children listened very carefully to the skipper’s rules before we set sail and wore their life jackets with pride. Our journey took us down the canal to Victoria Park and everybody loved being able to move around the boat, from the cabin to the deck and were excited to have a go at steering the boat!

The skippers explained how the locks work to let boats past and we all got out to open and close them at London Fields. Everyone pushed and pulled very hard! Lots of wildlife was spotted along the way, especially coots, we saw many of these out swimming today. On our way back to school we played Eye Spy. A lovely trip!
