Year 4 have carried on practising their baking skills this week. After their successful mug cakes in our first bake-off, the children attempted a much more complicated recipe this time around. They had to make and decorate 12 gingerbread cookies.
The children worked in two teams and the competition was as fiery as the ginger! They followed their recipes, made a wonderful mess, and then put their cookies in to bake.
Once the cookies had cooled, the children decorated them. They looked amazing and tasted incredible too. What a treat!
There will be another classroom bake-off soon and we can’t wait!
