This week we’ve been exploring 3D shapes and have done loads of investigating, including doing some walks around the school to find all the 3D shapes in our everyday lives. The children also had a go at making some wire frames of 3D shapes using marshmallows and toothpicks, which they really enjoyed. 
On Thursday, the children had some volunteer coaches take the children for a Personal Best session where they had to throw, jump and run as quickly as they could whilst being timed. Next week, they will try and beat their scores to improve. 
We have started researching and gathering information for our class fact file, the children are working hard to organise and choose the most interesting facts of their chosen animals. 
In PSHEE today, we used Webster’s Web to discuss the importance of online safety and focus on ways that children can be safe  when using the internet or playing online games etc.
