This week, we’ve been learning about Bonfire Night and the Gunpowder Plot.

We’ve been creating some digital media inspired by these events. The children learnt about fireworks safety and then created firework safety posters using PicCollage. They thought about some great advice to help people enjoy fireworks night. They then learnt how to use the PicCollage app and had to think about the composition of their posters and what would make them eye-catching. 

The children also worked together to create some stop animation fireworks display films. Most people won’t get to go to a fireworks display this year, so the children created their own by taking a series of pictures of their fireworks art and then playing them quickly to make an animation. I’ve put them together into one video for you to enjoy.
