As part of black history month, Year 5 have been learning about the amazing and inspirational life of Dr Martin Luther King.

After learning about the Alabama bus boycotts, we wrote our own versions of his famous ‘I Have a Dream’ speech, inspired by the era in which they were written. We were fascinated by the inspirational message of King’s life and this is reflected in the quality of the work and the passion the children showed.
